collision city suck

Postby dragonx » Mon Mar 28, 2005 7:59 pm

since collision city gave me such bad service, I thought I would give the appropriate feed back (in case any one thinks they should use them)

(I had the radiator support etc replaced) and supplied all required parts.

they came had a looked and said yeah we can do it, bring it in....
a while later, when I managed to get them to say "ok bring the car in"

says they will give me a good price might take a bit longer though (hey im in no hurry so im happy with this)

hello 3 1/2 months later, they have done nothing @ all, (i put a cover on teh car which had no bonnet and was left outside) I complain more than normal and get the usual we'll get it done this week.

4 months, give them some attitude, and they have the cheek to tell me "oh we are giving u a good price" (I supplied all the parts required remember)
get car back with out good price, nice paint job, the job is lacking though, not enough welds (so repair cert guy says), no seams sealing to prevent rust. (no talking to repair cert guy during repair as requested by me)
car measured on car-o-liner and signed off with a persons name who no longer works there.

so all in all bad service (yet freindly), poor repair.

ill be sure to complain to my insurance company, since they have an AMI hording on there building

Why?

no i rang like clock work, it just i got imcredibily pissed after 3 1/2 months.

i didnt worry for 2 months, it may seem lik a long time, to not do much, but i was in no hurry to get the car back, was moving house etc, and since i supplied 2 cars, 1 to be fixed, the other for parts, i didnt really want them back while i was moving and renovating. i thought "ohh well when i finish renovanting, ill be ready and surely they would have finished by then"

kept my dads 1968 datsun for 10 years, no joke, gave it a full paint job, lost half the parts, took them to court, seud and won. IMO they suck more balls than prince charles, I honestly couldnt post enough negative feedback about them.
To top it off that paint all fell off and its getting all re-done pro this time.

I have had an experience with collision city, they did good work.

You have to realise the waiting list for panel beating these days is huge, I'm talking months.
