Radiaor hose loop

Hi, cars heater broke under the dash so I need to loop the radiator hose, the old hose is broken so I bought a new one but I can't seem to get it into place without having it bend kind of sharply or have 'flatish spots' in the curve, is this going to be alright?

If you are just bypassing the heater core and when you say radiator hose will have a kink in it you mean the the heater hose will have a kink then this will be fine as it is not required to flow water through the heater as it is only a parallel system.

yea im just looping it so it doesn't pass through the heater. Are you sure it's ok to have kinks in it? i thougth the entire amount of radiator fluid had to pass through it?

It's going to be pretty hard to stop liek 180 degree sharp kinks.

you dont have to loop it
just bung both hoses and that will solve ya problems.... done it pleanty of times

ok sweet so my bent hose will do fine - dont have anything to bung the ends with.

Bent hose will do fine, the heater does not need to flow water through it! It will be just like you have the 'blend flap' on cold.

depending on the vehicle, the hose may need to flow. i have removed the heater unit on the rally car(dumb idea, rally is a winter sport!), and had to keep the flow due to the outlet position on the head. if the pipe was blocked off, it would have caused a build up of heat around the #4 piston, not to mention a build in scale around the same piston.
