*** MAY MEET - 14TH MAY, 5PM ***

Postby CozmoNz » Mon Apr 04, 2005 5:17 pm

Ok, the next monthly (i guess its monthly now?), toyspeed meet.

May the 14th, 5Pm, Dunedin Stadium / Ice rink Car park.

Bring mates if you want again, but remember, this time its going to be MORE winterish, so prepare to freeze your asses off.

If anyone can think of a new venue for the NEXT (after the may meet) meet, hopefully something with some heating, or cover. Along with easy to get to, and for the lower cars, to get in and out of.

(by all standards the mr2 isnt low, but still scrapes the bumper in that carpark). so id hate to think what would happen if pervert shows up lol.

ok, any ideas etc for this / next meet, places to go, things to do etc.

14TH 14TH 14TH 14TH

I might just have to try and make this one.

My car is fine for scraping, benefits of old schools, you can have it sitting on the bumpstops with the wheels in the guards, and still have 100mm clearance at all points, and no big ugly plastic bumpers or kits sitting 2cm off the ground that shatter on every manhole cover and cats-eye...

Well hope you guys weather doesn't get even worse, was in Dunners for a while on good Friday ... what can I say it was cold and wet, and this is coming from someone living in Invercargill.

And man there are some dodgy flats up Pine Hill, mates one felt like it was on a lean ... and is pretty much built into a cliff

Haha yeah, this one was awesum, built into a hillside on a lean and smelt like mould. Walk out on the varanda and theres boards missing with a 20m drop ... Kinda dodge.

So you guys get many at your meets, what about non-toyota. I'm a Toyota fan but couldn't afford a Supra so had to settle with a 180SX.

we get one or two.

Mate of mine has a 180! (as seen there), ca18det, soon to have T28, rx7 injectors, V mount I/c, ecu chip, exhaust, other bits and peices, hoping for 240ish hp.

Mite have a bit of compition then, mines getting T28, intercooler, nismo racing dump pipe. Full exhaust system from the states, few other bit's injetors, upgraded fuel pump, programable ECU etc. Aiming for a 300hp+ figure but spending a few to many dollors.

But hey thats life.

Sounds like a plan.

You guys are pretty much keen on any cars arent you. Longs as its not a Honda.

If so, might get my mate to bring his Primera along.

Only the ummm, younger members are against Honda's...

I'd much rather a Honda than a Primera...let me guess, P10 shape?

All is good...

Sweet. Hopefully i'll be able to make it. :)

I don't think my brother (with the RX-7) will be coming to anymore meets though. He found it a little boring (all the standing around). :(

Yeah i think 99% of us are keen for grass rippin, but 100% of us dont know where to go :(
Oh and on the topic of the cruise, how bout a drive out west, except this time to Taeri Mouth past Brighton, its a good fast windy road, and Taeri Mouth has a HUGE field to park in
Sound good yo?
And alex, I think a peninsula cruise would be too busy, campervans and busses and all
