Postby SL0 R0LLA » Tue Apr 05, 2005 8:43 pm

Help me out here! my car doesnt drive properly now, all i did was take the spark plug cover thing off just to clean a bit and now it doesnt even drive good now, the pod makes loud noises and sounds like its back firing and it struggles to reach 60KM/H and the revs are all messed up, could anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it? any help appreciated!

If you washed the engine with water, check sparkplug holes they are probably full of water, use wacuum which is design to suck water or just compressed air (messy)...

do above if you used water, then
1: check all the plugs are plugged in correctly and in the correct order
2: test the leads- one may have gone bung

I didnt use water, just a rag and some cleaning stuff that u put on the rag. could be airleaks or something? i did take off the plastic tube that goes between the TVIS part and the upper part of the engine then put it back on after. would this effect the engine?
