Unfortunately at the moment it seems highly unlikely that i will not be able to make it to this meet, or the Lawrence Drag Racing. :(

Because...

1. Need to pay over $40 to the hospital by the 20th April.
2. Have to save up $60-$70 for oil filter, oil and rental of the university garages so i can change it - before or on the 21st April (oil change is well overdue).
3. Warrent of Fitness is due on the 8th of May ($40+ isn't it?), and i know some things probably won't pass, two tyres won't anyway.
4. Need to buy four new tyres because at the moment there are three different types which is screwing up the 4WD making the front wheels pull when they shouldn't be - which is wearing out something in the 4WD system no doubt (when going along the motorway it is always 'juddering' like there are millions of little potholes everywhere when it is actually because of the tyres/torque split thingy). That will be $800 or so (don't want to get cruddy road tyres, it needs sports tyres) which i somehow have to find before May 8.
5. I only get $150 a week on the Sickness Benefit and once petrol, board, food, and a couple of other things have taken their share of the money i'm usually left with about $20 or so. :(

At the moment i'm not fit enough to work so getting a job to pay for all this would be quite difficult.

This sucks. :x

Yeah tell that to the young knownothingatall at a tyre shop near the Ford dealership in Washdyke ( just north of Timaru).

It was working alright before then. Bugger it.

I would ask for a loan from the parents but we are, and always have been reaonably hardish up. Besides that Dad is moving to the United States on the 24th April and he needs all the money he can get (despite selling his house two weeks ago for $120,000 - $50,000 of that he'll have left after everything is paid for). A $6,000 400 hp Mustang is the first thing he'll buy when he's over there i think.

man that sucks.... if i were you and you truly loved your car i wouldnyt drive untill you get those tires fixed..... bite the bullet and take a bus for a couple weeks, sav the money from gas and then just get what needs to be fixed done...i know its pretty gay but sometimes you gotta live on the bottom for a while to get back up on ur own two feet...
