POD Filter for Trueno

Postby TruenoBZG » Thu Apr 21, 2005 6:02 pm

Ive got a '96 Trueno Blacktop 4AGE, all standard so far, with a coldbox and shitty standard filter, which I'd like to change.

Can I change this to a POD filter? I've never done anything under engine bays other than wiring - so I mite have to have it installed - is it worth it?

Or, should I just go with a K & N panel filter?

Thanks

Just get a good quality replacement panel filter.

K&N should do the job just fine.

u reckon? Is a cold air box ok, or is it better to rip that off and chuck on a POD?

you can make a cold airbox for a aftermarket podfilter if you like,so hot air dosnt get sucked into the filter

go with the knight's idea. i got a trd panel filter in my ae101 fx gt and it works just as good as a pod with less hassle.

with the ae101 you wont get much gain from just adding a pod anyways
