ae111 electrical problem

Postby deaf_rattle » Sun Apr 24, 2005 12:01 pm

Ok, shorted out the g/fs ciggy lighter last night.
no big problem thoi right?

wrong

previous owner had not replaced the block fuse for that circuit and just wrapped the two prongs of the fuse with some wire.
(spare unblown fuse was sitting just beside it  )

so whats blown, now that the main fuse has been replaced?

is there another fusible link in there somewhere?

everything else is fine.
just acc to stereo, ciggy lighter and clock gets no power

It will just be another fuse somewhere (unless a wire has melted off) try in the engine bay fuse box.
