SW20 Offsets?

Postby Adamal » Tue Apr 26, 2005 1:14 pm

Ok, I've had a search through the forums using "SW20 offset" but found nothing.

So can anyone tell me exactly what the offset is for the SW20?
I've been told that the rear is about +38 and the front is +20? I'd just like to confirm this BEFORE I go and order some new wheels :P

Cheers guys!
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

The standard Toyota alloy wheels for the 90-92 cars are:

* Diameter 14" front and rear
* Width 6" front and 7" rear
* Offset 45mm front and rear
* PCD: 114.3mm
* Front tyre: 195/60 x 14", 29psi
* Rear tyre: 205/60 x 14", 32psi.

From 1992 onwards wheels are:

* Diameter 15" front and rear
* Width 6" front and 7" rear
* Offset 45 mm front and rear
* PCD: 114.3mm
* Front tyre: 195/55 x 15", 29psi
* Rear tyre: 225/50 x 15", 33psi.

Have a search on http://www.mr2oc.com under the wheels section on what offsets and tyre sizes work with different widths and diamteters.

Finding decent sized wheels in NZ with the correct offsets that dont look gay (like the Advanti range) can be a challenge.
