3S-GTE would be similar price. If you can't do at least some of the work yourself then a KE70 is most likely not worth the $$$ spent on the conversion. You also need to factor in a diff upgrade to probably a Hilux G code. As for the W55, it goes in no problems with a custom gearbox crossmember and slight enlarging of the shifter hole (depending on shifter position). Based on the 18RG sitting in my KE70, I think the 1UZ would go in without firewall or trans tunnel cutting. Cost to convert to manual though soon adds up as the motor was only available in auto.
