BNT do outter CVs for GTZs off the shelf, but there is no aftermarket replacement option for the inner CV. Inner CVs will have to be rebuilt

Now Ive got to get the other inner done, cus its quietened down.. but hasnt fixed it. (hopefully thats what the noise is.)

So what your saying is that you have done one of your inners but you need to do that other inner to fully stop the noises? I assume it completely stopped the clicking noise from the repaired side?

yep, well it fixed the clicking but not the 'rumbling noise' quite f(*&(* frustraiting at the time (which my g/f thinks is hilarious) but Il just have to do the other n see what happens. (kinda nice to have all new cv's anyway)

Rumbling could possibly be a bearing rather than a CV. They either click or do nothing basically. And inner CVs dont usually wear out. I had one with a boot missing for a year and pulled it apart and it looks fine inside. New grease in and away it goes.

Yeah got told the same by my mech, also said that sometimes they dry out and need repacking with grease. Hopefully thats all mine needs cos it seems weird for the inner to go before the outter

I dont belive it is the bearing, i have checked that.. absolutly no play turns perfectly with no notchyness.

Cv's can wear out abnormaly fast when the car is lowered substantialy.. (like mine)

Haha yeah true, my mech also said this, because the driveshaft angle is reduced which isnt good for inners
