help me plz. i can't find wht is wrong

hi all. i have a funny problem which occur

i was trying to repump my flat tyre with a mini 12V compressor from the Warehouse. it was running fine for a few seconds, then it GRADUALLY died. i thought it was the pump, but in actual fact, my ciga lighter plug is not working anymore. I checked all the fuse, even the one under the coin tray next to the steering wheel. still no luck. I seen another subject started abt this. something about dome fuse. whts that?? where can i find it. or could it be another problem.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. CHEERS all~

er could be heapsa shit. just rewire it to the battery with a fuse

sounds like a fuse if it was working then just stopped. how did you check them? sometimes theres more than one fuse box

You have probably stuffed the lighter socket itself some have a small fusible link on the back of the lighter socket itself which isnt replaceable but you can solder a piece of wire in there or replace te socket.
You need to remove the socket and test the wire for power if there is power replace the socket if no power at wire look for hidden fuses or burnt wiring/plugs

"Dome" fuse is under bonnet near lights, horn and efi fuse in most of the toyotas

i dun think is the fuse, like i said, i checked all possible fuse (unless there is one in the wiring loom behind the console), and it did not stop suddenly, it stopped gradually (funny aye). all my other lights and intruments works fine is just my ciga lighter not working. now i know wht dome fuse is then i can say i have checked tht too, checked the one next to steering wheels.

i think it might be the stocket itself. i will try finding out. CHEERS all..but just to confirm, are there usually fuse in the wiring loom??
