You're a little slow son, check the 2003 PC yearbook. SW20 with TRD widebody and 500hp @ the wheels.

For the record I think the toms one looks alot better.

Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

just a gen 2 with addon bits not a real gen 3/4 :P

another way to check, get them to turn their headlights on, check the tail lights

gen 1/2 light up all 4 lights, gen 3/4 light up the outside ones only

applying brake obviously lights the lot up.

Nahh it wouldn't. The way its designed wouldn't let a vacuum be created around the exit hole, and the underside isn't designed in a manner that it will scoop air up through it.

In short, that thing is total wank factor. Wouldn't even provide downforce because of its placement just behind the trailing edge of the cockpit.

i think youll find there could be quite a good low pressure area where that vents.... and dont forget where the factory vents are... didnt some one have some wind tunnel info on the sw20 some where?

Oh shit. Hahaha. In all honesty, when I wrote that, I totally forgot that the side vents existed! :D

Not only that dude, but there is actually a flat undertray underneath the car (have a look ;) ) which helps downforce as well as bringing air up through the engine bay. With those vents like that, it'll be pushing alot more hot air out than the stock vented lid.
Have a look at a few high powered MR2's (ala Phoenix's Power), they have those covers, dont think its purely for show.

Those plastic covers cover half the engine bay anyway :?
