Carrera GT or Enzo?

Postby Lloyd » Sun May 01, 2005 10:01 pm

So which one would it be if you had the choice? Was a Ferrari vs Porsche thread in Polls a while back which was very very close, but this is a little more specific.

Enzo just doesn't do it for me, not really attractive at all. The Carrera on the other hand....

The Enzo looks all a bit too.... 'Veilside' to me... Not really my bag.
The Carrera GT looks like a Le Mans car for the road. I like that.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

The sound? You get off over S2000's with baby rattles in the mufflers? :?

Now that you mention it - the nicest sounding NA 4cyl car I've been lucky enough to experience was an S2000 with an Apexi N1 exhaust. Any naturally aspirated motor that makes over 125hp/l deserves respect for the noises it makes.

It seems to weight that much. Sitting still its 1300kgs or so and the downforce when its screaming along is an extra 700kg odd on top of that.

What's with the GT's wing? for one it looks damn ugly... and supposabley only comes up when your doing a certain speed?
I'd go for the F40 if it was available...but theres just something about the pure sound of a ferrari...
