Windscreen Squirter

Postby cory_w » Mon May 02, 2005 7:43 pm

Hey guys, ya c i don't know bugger all about cars lol

The rear windscreen squirter doesn't work, it makes the sound as if it is, the little squirty sound when it does, but it doesn't work, the nozzle doesn't seem to be clogged, and the reservoir under the bonnet, is symbolised with a windscreen picture so i thought that might be for both, but maybe there is a seperate one for the rear windscreen?

If there was, would u have any ideas where it would be? Otherwise would there be any problems preventing the squirter from working?

Thanks

Telling us what type of vehicle you have first would be a good start. Some vehicles do have seperate reservoirs for their rear windscreen washers.

Alot of wagons and vans have a rear reservior in the rear pillar and ive seen a few with them in the door itself but this seems to be mainly on Euro vehicles. Id suggest looking in the pillar somewhere....

see if you can check the hosing itself, my next door neighbours subaru legacy was spraying alright, all up the back of the door and dribbeling outside the car.... so we couldnt see why it wasnt working.
