that is absurdly large
unless it's only 1cm thick
I'd actually really like to see you fit a 60cm tall intercooler in your front bumper.
even a 600x300x75 intercooler is really too big for anything under about 350hp, you're talking about something with 3 times the frontal area...seriously, that is really over the top (unless you have perhaps a 1000hp+ drag caldina?)

Your power gain will be insignificant next to the force... of the lag.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

well as stupid as this may sound im not really doing it for the power gain at the moment....i heard its better for the turbo as the air flow would be cooler and also i might get better boost from a front mount......also it'll look pretty bad with an inter cooler that size......dont ya reckon......!!!

Ok, all sarcasim and whatnot aside, its far too big for that application.
An intercooler that size is one you'd want if you were going to be producing more boost than the stock internals could handle.

...But the turbo will still be flowing the same temp air...wont it!!?- it will cool after the turbo- i.e. through the cooler...if Im wrong then I need to sleep more lol

Unless its incredibly thin, you're gonna have some big lag issues...it'll take forever to fill a core that size!

As said previously, its completely stupidto put an intercooler on that big. All you're going to get is lag. You'll get cooler air of course, but there is a point where its not really going to be any advantage and you will have gone so far past that point you wont be able to see it.

A 600x300 should do the trick nicely, cool effectively and wont be too laggy

Anything you can do to minimise lag?

Hmmm. Cut your interlagger into quarters perhaps?

Or just dont hook it up.

Anyone who knows anything about cars, will instantly think you are a retard when they see that, even before they meet you.

function > form.

Infact it would be better if you didnt hook it up, and just had it for looks. At least you wouldnt be ruining your cars performance too.

Dude calm down....the reason why i posted this was for advise not smart remarks...i thought it was quite a reasonable question just to see if my engine could handle an intercooler this size.... if u don't want to share something worth while better not to share anything all....

would be interesting to see if the lag was that bad......they ran boost resoviors (sp?) in the boot of wrc cars till they were banned, sure they had somewhat more complex boost control but hrmmmm.....
