Will a K series gearbox ( K50 ) bolt up to a T series engine?

no
there may be some wierd van that runs a t engine and k box, but i highly doubt it. I know some k vans had t boxes.

Why bother? T50's aren't that dear with a t series bellhousing.

look for a ke74, they ran k - t bellhousings on a t40 g/box

Nah, you guys have got it wrong. I have a K50 gearbox for sale on Trade Me and a guy asked me if it would fit a T series motor. I didnt know so I thought i wud post the question up here for the answer. ok.

haha - sorry, i read it wrong.
the answer is no, he will need a t series g/box or a w50 i think it is from behind a 3T in the coronas.
