VVT = On / Off
VVT-I = Continiously Virable (2 degree cam advance... 3...4...5..)

the ecu has a set map in which to set it to @ X rpm Vs Throttle.

why have vvt turn to full advance, when the most torque is made at 5 degree advance etc?

unmodified,

bluetop, funnest to drive, revvy, sounds great, perfect amount of power to have good times.

havent driven small port tvis/non-tvis before though

prefer bluetop to 4agze/either of the 20 valves

Have to say Blacktop. Got to love having the ability to rev hard and have a MAP sensor for the sound of the quad throttle trumpet induction noise!!!

This is so true. For it's time the blue top has to be king. It all began there, and at the time it was possibly the best engine around...
