it is pretty cheap to turbo a 5mge (2.8l straight 6) using parts from a 7mgte.
built like tanks.
$1500 will get you a mint one, which you can then sell some good parts off it to make some money back, and then buy some parts not as mint.
like doors and hatch etc if in mint condition and then slightly damaged ones, as you dont need mint looking car.
Any more info needed just ask.

Well the N/A Celicas still must go hard anyway. I will find out more on engine mods, in junior class all we are allowed to modify is exhaust which I'm doing in a cople of days to give more back-pressure. Thanks for the advice, you must know all about them! :D

yeah, the 2.8l 5mge is a good strong motor.
Should respond well with decent intake and exhaust.
Ive heard of 200hp with those 2 mods.
with weight reduction it would go pretty hard.
I mgiht be buying another one soon for parts, so if you buy one give me a yell and i should be able to help you out.

There's a hard charged SW20 MR2 at dirt track :) , hair pin is a little tricky however as midships arn't really designed to drift :!:
