Does this section need a local moderator...?

I believe the Dunedin section needs a local moderator, someone who is often browsing the Dunedin section and can delete 90% of what gets posted in here.

It really is a joke, I'm not saying I'm not a part of it, but I would like to see all the crap in here gone, and certian posts not even lasting a few hours.

I mean, a thread about a meet can easily turn into 7 pages of "I beat this car at the traffic lights, oh and Honda's suck..."

Do we need someone who is often browsing the Dunedin forum, to be appointed with moderator duties so they can cut back on all the crap, someone who is going to do a good job of it too?

but i highly doubt we would actually talk about it. (i know, wed plan to, but no one would actually bring it up), besides, in those meets we dont get into one big group, usually 4-5 smaller ones.

but, we can see what happens.

if you turn up perv, im sure you can push for the topic to be announced .

and you shouldnt be the mod >.> you would go through editing eveyones post to say *im an arse* or something along those lines

Nah, its OK, some members have already got the ball rolling anyway, so they will be discussing it tonight.

I'm not saying I should be the mod at all, but really, I think I would be above editing posts like that anyway.

Sorry to all bout my last comments too aye. Not really necessary for that to happen and I know I made a dick of myself. I usually just browse and not post anything and have had over four years experience in forums (had heaps of my own ones and moderated/adminededededed a few bigish ones) but don't know hardly anything about cars or Toyota's, so i'm not really suited to the job i don't think.

My current forum is down at the time of posting this, but my biggest one is still open (albeit abandoned).
