Caldina GT-T questions

Postby method » Wed May 11, 2005 11:40 pm

Hey what kind of quater mile times do the stock GT-T's get and ones with minor mods like intake and exhaust.

I take it you cant really wind the boost up as such for more power safley for daily driving seeing as they already run around 10 or 11 psi of boost and have highish compression.

Im in a little delema, cand decide on a legnum vr4 or a Caldina GT-T. GT-T looks better in and out but the legnum has a little more guts *i think* After it has been modded. Intake exhaust and 12psi from 6 or 7. Be close to 180ish kw at the wheels. After all it has a extra 2 cylinders and a extra 25% displacement.

But i have heard the caldina runs 13's stock, cant remember the exact figure but it was a 13 and thats awesome for a wagon. Sure as hell would sass a legnum.

FYI several magazines have tests showing the GT-T doing high 13s, I'll let you do the search to find out which ones  .

Granted that's probably a driver that knows his stuff, but it is possible/ Though probably not with the average driver, or even the more experienced one on the Meremere goat track
