Injector wiring question

Postby Lloyd » Tue May 31, 2005 10:17 pm

Hey, just looking through at the LEMV5 spacs and it says it has 2 injectors drives which I'm assuming it will not fire 4 injectors independantly of each other. How will this work on a 4AGE? After looking at the 4AGZE pin outs it seems that the injectors are fires in pairs anyway, but with the silvertop pin outs there seems to be a fair few wires for injectors.

Oh, and do you have to worry about the ignitor for the DLI coil packs when running a Link?

Cheers

Yeah with a LEM the injectors are "grouped" and I'm fairly sure you don't get the option of sequential injection like the link plus. Two drives halves the load on the circuits or you can run a second staged group if required.
Same deal with the stock setup, they're in pairs but fireall at the same time.

Get a mitis or subaru ignitor and tacho interface with your DLI setup.

LinkPlus gives the option of up to 8 sequentially fired injectors, basic Link is only 2 drives and have to be grouped or staged. So the 4AGEs fire the injectors in pairs then?

As far as the ignition side of things goes, cant I use the standard GZE ignitor? The basic Link caters for waste spark on a 4 cylinder.

I'm fairly sure the stock setup fires the injectors all at once, just that their is 2 drives to reduce the load on the circuitry in the ecu. Could be wrong thou.

Link ecu's don't like Toyota ignitors. This has been discussed before on several threads.
