TVIS and nonTVIS difference

Postby Caveman » Wed Jun 15, 2005 10:04 pm

Does anyone know if the TVIS and nonTVIS 16v 4ages have different pistons for the different valve cutouts?

Revhead, got different part numbers?

Yep they do. Non tvis have a larger cutout and a raised middle section, also higher compression.

Can send pics if you want.

Thanks

The reason is I have bluetop cams to put in my smallport 4age. I just wanted to know if the pistons and valve would collide since the bluetop has more lift.

Out of interest could you send the pictures to thecookiekiller at hotmail dot com. Thanks 8)
