hey any simple mods to this engine to get a lil more power??
im slowly doing everything to my car including engine change but that down the line!
so anything i can do to give me a lil more push!!
bounce all da way home!:)

not really, to be honest its a crap base unless you want to spend the big dollars, i think even they you would at least want a 4a-fe, i think vvega may have said that someone had the theory with the narrow cam angles it would run a turbo better than a 4age? i may be wrong there. Anyway just get rid of it and put a 4age in. No point wasting money on something thats never going to be all the great :?

Do the basics, exhaust and intake, will get some noticeable gains there.

very choked up on the exhaust side of things

the carb aint very great ether so anything is gunna be an improvement

they have a tendancy to make good torque for the engine size dont rev very well though...

prehaps try extractors, full exhaust, ramflow intake and play around with carb jet settings? or try find a direct bolt on carb from another car?

what carbs would bolt up?? the 4a-f's have emision control....on a carbie, loving the vacume hoses for africa :x and whats that you say about revs dohca?? mine loves the valve bounce :D

no idea you would need to look.

my NZ new one doesent have emisson bs so thats a bonus... as for revving well yeah i wouldent like to try that.. not very strong engines :cry:
