depends on how hard the bolt is stuck in their, easy outs work sometimes, another method i use is i angle grind the rounded head into somthing i can grip... LOTS AND LOTS OF CRC

or if your a real skilled engineer dude, you can drill the whole thing out so the thread can be tapped out with a screwdriver... pretty impressive stuff really

peace

gotta be careful with easy outs, they have a tendency to break sometimes.
which then leaves you with a superhard bolt you cant get out at all :?

Where is the bolt stuck?
Vice grips tend to be the best

You mean the one that connects it to the gaurd?

Could use a file to make a hex again then use a single hex socket, or if the headlight is being binned then just cut the head off with a hacksaw blade

no matter what you do, DO NOT use easy-outs.

A left hand drill bit is what I suggest.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

yes and use a left hand hammer too

You could try welding a bit of metal on to the head, like a bar or something to use as leverage providing you have enough space to work it loose?

vice grips on really tight and tap it with a hammer. Only works if there's lots of room though.

Thin angle grinding disk, grind a strip into the end and use a really big flat-head screwdriver...surely a headlight bolt can only be like a 12mm... :?

hehe the twist on a lft dril bit id the oposite way
so that means as you drilling..in reverce... the bolt will normally just undo as the drill takes the pressure off the locked threed

seems to work well..

Put a set of vice grips on it, and do that set of vice grips up with another set. Uber tight :D
