Well there is no point....

The idea of TVIS is to give an NA motor better intake velocity at low RPM... But you've already got a supercharger doing that for ya. :)
Its also restrictive at high RPM, which isnt cool. :(

would the same apply if you had it turboed?

The TVIS plates are partially closed at lower RPM to encourage better airflow, and more torque. As the RPMs increase, the plates open to allow the increased amount of air to flow easily. At a certain point, however, the plates themselves become a restriction to the airflow.

If you were to turbo a GZE, then theoretically, TVIS would give you improved low-down torque, but the TVIS plates would still be a restriction to the airflow once it gets up to higher revs.

Most worked 4AGEs / 4AGZEs / 4AGTEs that I've seen have all had TVIS removed.

To get the same amount of air through smaller runners mean that the air has to flow faster.
This helps with the low down in an N/A engine as the air is being sucked in. In a forced induction setup however, the air is being forced in, so it becomes irrelivent. :)
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
