Postby FXGT » Fri Jul 01, 2005 11:52 pm

Hi there...

I need advice on what muffler to get for my ae92 FXGT Corolla. Also where can i get the best price from?

What inlet/outlet size etc??

Also, does anyone know of anyone selling a gearbox for it?? (AE92 FXGT)

Thanks! Help appreciated!

It's a pretty rare name... Chantel Christianson....

Here's a pretty old pic of my car (to those who want to know, no i'm not selling it anymore :P )...

I'm changing the mags soon though, to another 17" set, except silver, not white...

Oh i just noticed that you're fx doesn't have those ugly reflectors in the back either side of the plate number.... as some don't have them. But mine has them, do you think i can remove them without being a hole that goes through the boot lol??

I am selling a couple of mufflers off an hsv. theyre 2 1/4" and a stright through design. They flow very well and are also quiet. perfect for an fxgt.
$40 plus freight for one of them. PM me if interested

Nah, i'm wanting to buy a brand new one, but i just want to know if i could find a better deal than pitstop.

And 'fxgt', i'm changing the mags because i don't like the shape of the one's i have on now...

I'm going to fit those other one's on next weekend, if they look good i'll keep them on, if they don't then i won't change them.

Lukey mufflers have a good rep. Maybe go for a 2 1/4" inlet/outlet.

Dont get one of those rps style mufflers for a non turbo, especially an fxgt. Theyre just too friken loud.

Get a normal looking muffler but make sure its a 'straight through' design.
