ct26 4agze-300 hp@wheels?(ae82 fxgt)

Postby sleeper_rolla » Sat Jul 02, 2005 2:22 pm

I know a guy who runs a ct26 with ae92 ze motor gt4 fuel pump std injectors and a link tuned for 18psi...

He claims 300hp at wheels
Im not too good when it comes to all the 'real' car stuff
he reckons he has a dyno slip but 'no i cant see it'
and he's never dragged it either

he just thinks hes the man and thats that.
is there anyway i can tell he doesnt have 300hp ? lol

btw-duz anyone have a problem with da6 drivers? or is it just me :?

My vote is bollocks.
ZE injectors are 365cc/min. If we use this online calc...

We get the following. Note that I'm being generous with duty cycle. With this duration the injectors will fuse and they possibly wont even have time to open and close.

http://www.z31.com/software/injector.pl

Injector size: 370 cc/min injectors(35.2 lbs/hour)
Number of injectors: 4
BSFC: 0.65
Duty cycle: 0.90

This combination will supply fuel for 195 horsepower

And we are attempting to get 345.... still a long way to go even if you alter the fuel pressure.

I could believe 250 with those injectors, but 345... nope.
The answer is Helmholtz!

He picked the wrong car. He should have done up a dohc turb and cranked it up to 20 pound. 400hp bro.
