Had to jump start the rona today as the battery is still a bit low after draining it the day I towed my new project home (92 nissan laurel -> rb20det). We had it bridged up to the trusty fxgt and as both cars were running we could hear that the condensor in the rona was clicking every second. But as soon as we disconnected the jumper leads the clicking stopped. Can anyone explain this phenomenom? Is it a fuse or something in the condensor if the circuit was receiving more charge than it could take?
Also, while taking time out from my laurel I did the typical random thing and pushed the rona from the side so that it would rock side to side, as like the boat that it is! So yup, heaps of lateral movement! Later on in the day, having forgot about this, I was driving around and the car had a tendancy to oversteer when more steering input was given. I presume that by rocking the car I have somehow put more pressure into the front shocks or something cos I would guess that the front end has somehow improved its grip. Does this make any sense? I almost lost control around a corner and was embarressed about its increased "boatyness". Ah well, I guess more responsible steering cant be a bad thing!
All things considered, the 6R is still going strong, well with the odd hi rev miss and hopefully she will get through another wof in a months time!
