Which Euro to choose?

Postby rollas22 » Thu Jul 14, 2005 12:10 pm

Deciding on my new car, and im deciding to go back to Euro after owning a mint example of a genuine classic BMW E30 325i Motorsport.

Trying to decide on what now tho.....

BMW!
They are just so mint, even though mine's only a 1.9 it's still car that would pack some punch around a track, and it handles perfectly.
Depending what you wanted, I'd go for a 325i, something I couldn't afford when I got mine. BMW's are awesome cars, good for out-running commodores with shit handling. :?

For what you've got in mind, I'd say Merc. Dump it, chrome it, pull it, tap it, gap it ;)
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Haha "chucka rota in it au" haha.
Im looking into the option of a MERC 190e at the moment, or maybe a BMW 328i Motorsport... dam decisions are hard to make for a nice car.
Yea i agree all the boys (pritty boys) on the shore are wankers, "oh lets just let mummy & daddy buy our cars" haha
Get a real car! 8)

unless its the cosworth version!

sorry to say it, buts mercs are real pices of sh*t. we used to be the agent and still get heaps in. their reputation for quality is very overstated.
if you want to blow all your money on repairs and servicing buy a merc.

Merc for sure! Or a lexus. I would never have a BMW. My dad works next to a dealer and workshop for them and he sees about 10 towed in per day  I must admint the new ones are quite nice but i would prefer a Merc. I have driven a 4 door 2.0 litre straight 6 bmw and it went well, handled good but I just didnt like it. (No offence Emperor :D ) Merc or Lexus would be my personal pref.

Seriously, BMW's are $&#$% great. I've NEVER had issues with mine and I thrash the shit out of it. All those "towed BMWs" must be from dickheads who put chromes and take the springs out.
