Running Engine without water

Postby BZG Wagon » Wed Jul 20, 2005 8:27 pm

Is it ok to move a car with no water in it? (I.e it would only be started for a minute; to move it up the driveway).

Sounds like a dummb question, but I dont see why not as the thermostat would be closed thus no water circulating anyway, and the engine would not heat up enough to do any damage?
