My mates got a gtx we work on.

We've replaced two gearbox's
And redline oil or something expensive won't do jack shit to its life.

easy bolt on mods VF10/11/8.




but I stand with the gtz. 4age/ze is so damn reliable.

Apparently, the trick involves using a FWD non-turbo gearbox, wreckers sell them for like $50 and they don't spit the dummy easily, even doing heaps of skiddies.

Lack of 4WD seems to solve a lot of issues as well...

all depends what you want in a car, my gtz has beaten alot of gtx's, adn my car actually can out handle them, my sister had a mildly modded ford laser b6t 4wd one, thing was as loose as a slapper on..... but yeah, mate went through 3 gearboxes in his N/A familia. i turboed my gtz now, and amazing difference in power
