could be done, but will be a bit of work and may not last to long if the engine is kept as it. would need to fabricate several bits, but pleanty of carby cars have been s/c'd before.

personaly i think ure wasting your time.
3a's are a shitthouse engine. dont waste your time trying to rig up a blower to blow under the carb. too much time to spend on that engine i reckin. plus the power gains would not make up for the cash spent, and if u are wanting high boost, then u will have to re-do the internals to handle it. But if u REALY want to im sure it could be done, and would be an interesting and original setup.

jus put a gze in it... :D

Like the guy above said... the 3a is a peice of the shite, not worth wasting money on. Of course if you're dead set on doing it then go ahead...

or just put a gze in...

or better yet go turb because s/c is dumb

haha yea i can agree the engine is a shithouse, but the car is worth more with that THING in there than a gze or 4age.

what would be required in such a set-up?

i reall dont want to do it, but putting a 4age or something it is just a shame really, and yes i dont think the 4agze is that great, well the AFM version anyway...

why would it be worth more with a puss 3A in there?

If it was then surely it wouldn't be once a s/c had killed it?

best to do it once and do it right and go ze or 4age

Well if its worth so much with a shithouse 3a in it, then it sounds like it needs to be kept in completely original condition to stay at that value. Which would mean no s/c. Besides, you'll most likely kill the engine trying to run a s/c on it, not to mention how much money it will cost.

If its worth more with the factory engine in then modifying the factory engine isn't going to help it hold any value

What a waste of money. There is no way I would pay more for a low-spec version of a car if i could get the high-spec version for a fraction of the price!

Must be some rich collector. One of the guys I worked with got an aw10 for $1500 about a year ago. Maybe cos it was auto it wernt worth another 8500?

But yea, as said above. If you want to keep it origional for the value sake, then putting a s/c on aint really the best idea.

were you meaning sold the superedition for $10,000?

cos there was only like 250 of them built and they were the highest of the high spec, would be worth a mint to the right person

Hey, at least it sounds like a 3s.
