Nice conversion mate, but your interior is not only filthy, its beyond ugly! I'm not really keen on that red vinyl/everything else look aye. Maybe recovering it as well is on the cards?

Yeah I am not so keen on the interior colour either, its the same shade as most of the older TT Supras...two of the three Supras I have owned had the same colour scheme...so its kinda like coming home...

not quite sure what we are going to do with this one as yet, but below the dust its not too bad. Has been sitting in the shed where we found it for the last 6-years.

Also have another Toyota Project that you will soon see.

Here's a pic of my Toyota beast

Image

It's an '82 TE71 Corolla 2 door liftback with a 2T-B 1600cc twin carb motor. Was used as a paddock car, but I'm trying to get her back on the road. Needs interior bits like door cards, back seats, belts etc and rust work/panel and paint.

Here's my daily driver - it's an '89 Galant with 400,000kms on the clock. Although it's off the road now after an attempted theft of the car.

Is that a typo? 400,000 on the clock?? Do odometers even GO that high? 8O
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Our new project that is currently under construction looks like this.

Unfortunatly I'll have to live with the fact that's it dad project and all I'll get to do is use it, lol,

For those who cant tell what it is,

It's the new 2005 ford focus as seen on the new TV ad's lately,
and is being fitted with a 600hp or so XR6 Turbo motor recessed in and converted to RWD.

Haha. Yeah it's a very basic Mitsi, on the original 1755cc SOHC 8 valve carby motor. A dealership clocked up 200,000kms in the first 2 years of its life.

Although I've seen a whole heap of other Galants the same shape as mine, with well over 300,000kms on them. They all seemed to be NZ-new ones though..

By the look of where those digits are lying I wouldnt be surprised if it had done a lot more than 400,000....but I am guessing that it must be an NZ new machine...so who knows..??

Good example of Mitsubish longevity either way...
