any u guys checked out the initial d real life movie?? its out on bit torrent somewhere..? few of my friends seen it and said it was shit. which kinda sux cause i was looking forward to it.

It's alright.
If you watch it as a movie with nothing to do with the anime, it's good.
But if you expect it to follow the anime, it's bad.
So when you watch the movie, think "not meant to follow anime". and you'll like it.

Yeh it doesn't follow the storyline very well ... and a couple of the characters are VERY different to the anime, but still has some nice drifting in it

Omg the live movie sucked, really badly, and the subs on my version where in french so that didnt help much, nice drifting tho, rest was crap.
