hey iv got a gx71 cressida with a 1geu. i just put the motor in last weekend (due to the old motor being fried... blown headgasket, and they kept driving it, got so hot the ht leads melted to the plugs/block lol) any way went mint on monday and tuesday then started like stalling, dropping revs for no reason. now it wont start atallbut smokes (blue smoke, very very fuely smelling) . has good compression (150psi even on all 6 cylinders) i have replaced the intake manifold gasket to be sure its not leaking. it has good spark, and good fuel pressure. are all these symptoms pointing to a crook air flow metre? is definately seriously over fueling wen trying to start it, if i remove the efi relay it will actually start and run on the remaining fuel in the chamber for a couple of seconds. a work mate had a theory that the injectors mite b f*cked but it seems unlikely that they would be mint for 2 days then all of a sudden all 6 stop working and just blow fuel in.
i guess all im asking for is a few different opinions of the issue? what u think the problem may be.
oh also the problem first started with the car would idle fine, but the second u touched the throttle the engine would die.
