I was getting 135dbs out of 2 philips 10s in a medium sized sedan.
so with better subs, more power, smaller car and hopefully even better box (last box was pretty awesome) 140db should be possible.
have you got any reason to think 140db is not achievable?

I am going to try and track down some vdo 8" 3 way speakers for the rear parcel tray and look at powering the subs with one of the spare amps i have.
then might look at getting a better amp to run the subs once thats all done.
een if i break 135ish dbs ill be happy, as thats what i was getting before, and anyone that heard that swore i had 2 12s in there haha
