Should I put 6x9s or sub in toyota starlet? or both?

Phat beats and out-of-luck crooks. Again, read the Disclaimer first.

I bought the $249 dollar CD/MP3/WMA headunit from The Warehouse and I am IMPRESSED++++ with it. It puts out 50w x4 and doesn't skip or anything, it even survided the crash when I rolled the car three times and I pulled it out of the wreck and put it in the new celica :P

With the Celica stock speakers which are allready fantastic, the 50w x4 makes them thump, so far everyone who has gotten in the car says, "Oh.. you got your sub hooked up, sweet!"... I can't wait wait to actually hook up the sub now, hahahaha.

for instance my girls flatmate (absolute idiot of a twat) has a 12 and a 15 hooked up to a couple of amps. no components, just one front factory standard legacy speaker. no clarity whatsoever, cant hear any of the vox but he loves it.

mind you when he ran out of toilet paper he opted not to pay a couple of bucks for supermarket toilet paper but rather use old tshirts and warehouse catalogues to do the business so you can see what sort of a disguisting moron he is

thats only the start of it. they have been given their 2 weeks notice and are acting all shitty about it. i doubt they'll pay rent this week...which means we get to throw all their shit out on road in the weekend. so if anyone wants some roadside freebees this week, wellington st in hamilton might be the go!

similar to this. yes its a lower end model but for the same or cheaper you can score pionoeer gear which sounds amazing in comparrason.

I had a 5400 and it was great. You don't think may be you had a slighlty faulty one perhaps. I've heard some nice sounding stereos with Panasonic source units

i dont think so, it sounded fine, but just didnt compare to the pioneer. i dont believe all panasonic is crap, but that was a lower end model and it showed why
