axles are the same, noticed drivers axle is 2 piece where the 101 is single, but typical toyota it bolted in anyway. gleaming
currently beating - AE101 Sedan, blacktop/6spd, tein coilovers, braided lines, cup holder, and every other bloody thing possible.

AE101 4age axle is a 2 piece!

Did i say it was 4age before the conversion?
The factory 4AFE i replaced uses a single shaft and my point was that it fit anyway. relax and take deep breaths there is no need to stress out and jump the gun. I am of reasonable education on this subject having done this work previously

sorry, my exlamation mark must of confuse you... I know that 4afe and 16 valve 4age have single piece drive shaft...

i think $600 was from auto parts in chch, $900 was at hursts in chch

lol, might have been my old 6 speed box, the one with the lunched crown & pinion gears and no 2nd or 3rd gears. :lol: :lol: :lol:

NOTE: Tarmac motorkana + sticky tyres + lsd + tight corners = broken 6speed gearbox and 4 CV joints!!! Ooops!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:
