strictly speaking, you can do a gearbox change and not need a cert if:
OE box crossmember hasnt been heated, cut or welded
Crossmember mounting is unchanged
no replacement gearbox crossmember is used
OE drive shaft is un modded
no substantial mods are made to the box tunnel.
thats the rules for it, but as suggested above, in reality, at wof time it will probably be looked over if it all looks tidy, neat and origonal.
