I finally got my SW20 back today and shes looking beauty. Will look even better when I get a lick of paint on her and some wheels, followed by some TRD suspension to drop her JUST a tad.

I've got a couple of pics on my phone, but can't be bothered transfering them to my PC yet.

Thanks to the boys at N1 Kits for the awesome work they did with a crap quality kit! I don't think it would be looking this good if I took it elsewhere!

Not sure yet. I've got hookups with Evans European, so will probably take it in there on Tuesday to get looked at and get a quote.

As for facelift taillights, I actually prefer the look of the pre-facelift tail lights to be honest. Something about the facelift ones just doesn't float my boat.

my roman is a bit rusty, but the plate says 1990 yes? wtf does that mean?
Looks very nice...saw a very similar one at West City today, red car and the body kit was black (no spoiler though). The parts were all screwed on though (rather than FG bonded), and it looked f*cking ridiculous on the factory mags!

I think I might know the one you're talking about. Probably the one that belongs to a guy who works at KFC in New Lynn. I've seen that one before and to be honest, it looks terrible. Things didn't line up at all. He told me before he got it done that he found a place that was gonna do it for $600. I guess you get what you pay for

And yes, even though my wheels are an inch bigger than standard, I'm still gonna have to get new ones that come flush with the fenders. I worked out that I'm gonna have about 9" on the rear

Well, the initial quote for fitting was $2500. I then asked them to fix up a crack in the rear spoiler and remove the areil hole in the rear right fender.
Then they encouncered problems with the kit fitting, and more problems.
Then I asked them to get rid of all the dents and get rid of 2 spots of rust.
They had quite a few problems with the kit which is the reason it took a lot of time. The side skirts were too long, had to be cut and joined back together, the top of the front bumper wasn't high enough and didn't line up with the bonnet, as well as a lot of things not going in line properly. They weren't BS'ing me either, they sent pics and its definatly noticable.

Total bill is $4000. I've paid it all off though, which is good because I hate owing money. Oh, and that was without any sort of loan. So no debts to be cleaered

Will be going with Enkei RPF1's in white. They're lightweight rims, but will only be going 17", to keep a good balance between looks and performance.
Good thing I've got a mate who works for YHI who can hook me up

I was looking at Racing Hart CR's in 17x7 and 17x8 until I found out the $4.5k price for wheels alone

Enkei RPF1's once YHI actually get more stock of the 17x8s

I went over some figures and my conclusion was that I'll need 9" on the rear and about 7.5" on the front.

Did I mention that I don't have power steering? I'm gonna have some buff arms
