I know this is off topic, and I know I should know better, but I can't resist...

I'll see your CT15A, and raise you 2x CT12B's.

I am in melbourne at the moment and busy expanding my bussiness so i will be delaying my projects and please dont confuse me with caldina gtt. I am 99GTT i am not doing a dyno run , as i am not expecting 450 hp as this takes a lot more psi than what i run in my car seen as it is my wifes daily driver.

So this wasn't you then?
99gtt wrote:caldinas do have a ct26 with the exhuast housing as part of the manifold. The upgrade has the turbo stripped and cleaned, new seals, bigger wheels stronger shaft and balanced which supports up to 450 hp also if you are wanting to go frount mount you are able to turn the compressor housing around to suit the piping. It is not for sale its an upgrade.

To awnswer your question anthonym, caldina gtt is a friend of mine and used my log in , but it is his car with the 450 hp goal which i must say will be pretty close. Looking forward to your results twisted and i am curious are you going to run the same boost on the dyno to compare the previous results and are you still running the td05/06

We will be upping the boost slightly from the 13.7 psi that it was running at last time and yes still the same TD05/6 turbo. I too am interrested to see how she goes! Will be hitting the strip on saterday - so should have new dyno figure and new 1/4 mile time to match.

Ok - sheets are in.

We managed a max of 214kw at the wheels before hitting boost cut (yes i know the EMU is supposed to eliminate this but there is either something wrong with my unit or the firmware hence having to splice into rather than intercepting the air flow signal). TP also tuned very conservatively with heaps of fuel just to be on the safe side, so be aware more power could be had if the mixtures were leaner.

Before tune (185kw @13.7psi): http://www.drivenperformance.co.nz\images\dyno\dynosheet1.jpg

After tune (192.5kw @ 13.5 psi): http://www.drivenperformance.co.nz\images\dyno\tp_emu_192kw.jpg

Increased boost tune (210kw @ 16.4 psi): http://www.drivenperformance.co.nz\images\dyno\tp_emu_209kw.jpg

More Increased boost tune (214kw @ 17.4 psi): http://www.drivenperformance.co.nz\images\dyno\tp_emu_214kw.jpg

286 horses at the wheels... and almost as much talk at the wheels as my 20v!
