hooking up a shift light to a 4agze

would somebody be able to tell me witch coil you wire a shift light up to in a 4agze cause it has two coils or if it matters witch coil u use

you'll need a tacho interface unit to convert the signals from the coils into one signal for your shift light to work. i'm using one from a VR4.

what generation of VR4 is it ?
The newer v6 VR4 ?

No its from a 4cyl VR4 with 4G63T.
The 2 input wires get a signal from both negatives on the coils, the output wires into your tach or shiftlight. Easy as.
