What Ajz, burning angel, and I would like to know is where this capacitor is supposed to go? The wiring manual for the link does state where on the coil it is supposed to wire into, its just finding it thats all. Life would be much easier if turboshop hadn't left the original wiring loom for the old engine in there

We suspect the reason my car lags (and slightly splutters) through gear changes (when changing fast) is because of these wires and/or capacitor that were found unattached just below the dizzy
We are also trying to work out why the LINK igniter when attached to the body of the car is grounding and not allowing the car to start. we have temporarily (with cable ties) attached it to the back of the intake pipe just before the pod (got rangi?). This seems to allow the car to start, whereas if it touching metal at all it will not.
Confused yet?
Any ideas or comments on making the link operate correctly?
