my new car has got 6x9's in the tray, with a horrible looking sheet metal box under each one
probably a stupid question but i'm assuming this would have a negative effect on the sound? espesially as the boxes are not sealed up well at all
either way i'll be pulling them off and using the boot as the enclosure
metal speaker boxes... ?

as ong as the boxes are rigid then its no problem, however leaks, and small boxes for essentially free air drivers is bad mmkay

(a) metal boxes will go like S**t when its cranked
(b) its abusing the point of even having boxes cause its all about the thinkness and things like that
look in the manual and get them specifcally made 4 max performance
