Code 43 & cold start injector? 3sgte

Postby Al » Mon Aug 22, 2005 10:44 pm

Car has been running really roughly in the mornings lately. Put in brand new plugs hoping they were just fouled but it still hesitates. Lead, rotor and dizzy cap have around 20,000km on them.

Thought I'd check the codes to make sure and got code 43 which is a starter/ignition code....yet I have no problems starting the car.

Is the cold start injector part of that code?

Code 43 is starter signal.

basically a code that means nothing.
It means the car has been started without a start signal.
If you crash start your car it will come up with that code.
It has nothing to do with cold start injector and will not have any effect on the way it drives.
