ticking noise, 3sgte

hey high pitched ticking noise (sorta like something sparking) rev dependent (faster wit fast revs etc....) comming from cam belt side of motor only at idle-2500ish revs dissapears or is drowned out, any suggestions, st165 1st gen 3sgte

checked the valve clearence? Also how many km's has the engine done
