41.co.nz for JUN, Toda, Buddyclub etc =]

Hi Everyone

Today (as I am sure you will read - thanks to Chelles) we've (Fortyone Automotive Limited) completed what is necessary to sponsor Toyspeed. It's something we've been looking forward to settling for a while now so we are pleased to officially be able to sponsor your club.

If you haven't heard of us previously, we act as official exclusive dealers for many JDM and USDM (and some European) manufacturers. We work directly with the manufacturers we sell, we do not buy off a friend who knows a friend who knows a distributor. I believe at last count we are exclusive dealers for all but 5 of the Manufacturers we represent.

The benefit to you is that we pass on factory warranties, offer factor backed support and information, and keep everything legit.

At present we have 2 distribution centers, which are not open to the public - Auckland and Wellington. Big plans are underway to turn these into shops / workshops - our site has teaser details about this.

Right now, our web site acts as our store front and as you'll see you can buy everything on-line with your Credit Card via HTTPS with DPS, or print off your order and fax / post / pigeon it to us.

We are open to group buys, bulk deals and sponsorship ideas - we already sponsor a couple of cars, which will make their debut. We are particularly fond of bringing in products en masse so team up and bargain with us =]

As part of this package, proceeds from your purchases go directly into a Toyspeed fund which is then put towards club track days, events, show entries, etc etc etc.

So, keep an eye on this post as we make new product announcements and provide Toyspeed with Toyota Specific deals.

There's no discount system in place any more. The reason is simple - to not take a loss from granting a 10% discount, we used to up the RRP a little. For any legitimate buyer that wasn't a car club member they thought the prices were unfair.

Therefore we removed it, and dropped the pricing =] We now offer the clubs we sponsor (amongst other things) a percent of the sale - which (as mentioned) goes towards track days, Ski trips or what ever your club fancys. The added bonus is that previously only a finite number of members received some benefit - now the benefit is not limited to just club members (i.e. Toyspeed can host an event sponsored by us, and the spectators can then say they came about Fortyone via Toyspeed!).

However, as mentioned in the 3rd-to-last sentance above we're always open to a deal. As exclusive dealers for many of the brands we sell, it's hard to 'compare' prices against similar products - so you can always ask for a sharper price.

Performance - there are some exterior parts - typically these are replicated at a far lower cost in New Zealand so there is little benefit in stocking these items.

As usual, now that Toyspeed has a relationship with this vendor, any issues should be raised directly with the vendor via private message.

If the issue is sufficient to require greater Toyspeed involvement, report this to a Moderator via Private Message. No stirring in the forums, please, as this is disrespectful and disruptive and frankly, if theres a major issue between Toyspeed and a Vendor, it should be addressed internally to start with ;-)

Welcome aboard to fortyone.

Hah yeah I hear you =] It was an easy market because we knew it to start out with - the delay currently with listing more Toyota parts is that the Japanese manufacturers push us on to their US companies - who remove half their product line ups because they don't have the Toyota's over there.

You might want to change this. Quoted directly from your website:

Small word of Advice, a 2+MB Home page is a VERY bad move. :( Although it looks impresive :D, I recommend making it 100x smaller, as not everbody has "Broadband"

Now to see what you have got :)
Just remember: The glass is neither half full nor half empty, it is merely the wrong size

Point taken. I belive the problem there is that I have not limited the number of new products listed on the front page - I should fix that.

Today we've added the Buddyclub product line up - which has taken us about 3 months to secure dealer rights. Buddyclub make some cam shafts and cam gears for CT9A Evolutions I believe, as well as having exhaust applications for a few other Mitsubishi's also. Their P1 racing wheels have also been some of the lightest out for their different sizes =]
