Exhaust plug problem

Postby Brick » Fri Sep 02, 2005 5:02 pm

At the bottom of my exhaust under the engine there is wat looks like a sensor that goes into the exhaust that gets bolted on by 2 bolts, well my one must of got ripped out cos its no longer there and makes a horrible noise and hav lost heaps of power. So wat i need to no is...
- Is it very important?
- Is there a exhaust temp gauge i cud put in its place that has the same connection? And
-Is there a temporary way i can seal the hole cos it makes a f**ken horible noise!

So thats what that horrible noise is being caused by...

Where exactly is this hole/flange? Is there a loom with a plug on the end of it somewhere near it?

There was originally 2 holes, one n the flexy and one in the resinator, got them fixed and now the 02 sensor been ripped out and that was yesterday. its where the exhaust comes from the block and curves to go under ur car.
