How to enable Uniden alarm after its been disabled?

I disabled my alarm because i stuffed up my alarm remote by leaving it next to the microwave. But now i real want to reset the alarm again, since i moved to a less safe area and need the alarm to be working full time. can some one tell me how to do so? thanks

what model uniden is it?i got the manuals for a vs1100xr,im away for weekend so pm me and ill reply later

if it is one of those monoblock things (new type), just turn on/off ignition 4 times, and press button on new remote (arm button).
if it is one of those old ones, open it up and get the number off the back of the cover, you will have to go to uniden, they will program new remote for you...
