You count mount them on the ground just in front of your wheels, then take it for a test drive??

Geez guys. Friendly lot of barstards aren't ya.

All the dude is after is a bit of help of where to fit his neons.

I dont think he cares too much if you think they're not cool, its his car and he likes neons so let him have his fun rather than giving him shit

well for a start front and rear are illegal

if you are having neons on your car, just like with any other non factory lights, make sure they are legal.

give this a read.....under cosmetic lighting...

If mounted on the inside of the bumpers like I suggested, essentially glowing back into and under the car (not outwards) you would probably get away with it though- I have a mate with them on his truck mounted that way, no prob's legally in the last year.

thanks EVLGTZ
nice car btw, love the bonnet scoop

still after someone to lend a guiding hand...

i was thinking of putting them somewhere inside the bumpers actually... if i cut into them slightly so i can pull part of them outwards to make room, would that cause me to fail a warrent?

What type of corrola is it? if its one with hidious plastic bumpers you can remove the front bumper, cover the gap with black mesh and put the neon behind the front valiance. My mate has undercar neons on his GL wagon with one like iv described. He has a letter from the LTSA saying you are allowed cosmetic lights as long as the bulb is not visable while driving so if he is hastled by the cops he has the letter as proof.
Personally I only like my neons inside the car but good on you for having your own opinions.
Sorry if iv offended any of you plastic bumper fans :?

That and as long as the light doesnt shine outwards from the car, just straight down.

its a AE80 DX, and why yes, just happens to have them. however, i have since just jammed them up inside the bumper (front one so far), and looks/works fine!
